The NSSA Congressional Affairs program is focused on providing thought leadership and industry-leading analysis of legislative activity by Congress impacting the national security space market.

NSSA Members receive timely, relevant and unique analysis of: the annual budget request for national security space programs, committee hearings and other legislative activities in the U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate.

We are proud to collaborate directly with key Members of Congress, as well as committee and member staff to inform their legislative activities with perspectives from the leading companies in the national security space market.

NSSA is proud to host special events with Members of Congress and committee professional staff, including honoring Rep. Jim Cooper for his leadership and contributions to establishing the U.S. Space Force. NSSA also hosts classified briefings in which committee professional staff can provide critical insights on their perspectives on classified investments.

Thought Leadership

NSSA publishes legislative information papers annually to help inform Members of Congress on the key issues facing the national security space market. Our focus has been on educating legislators on critical issues impacting Commercial Space Capabilities, Workforce Development and Security Policy. We share and discuss these papers directly with Members of Congress and committee professional staff.
